Chromium-nickel steel alloyed with nitrogen and rare earth metals.
Features:
- High creep strength.
- Very high resistance to oxidation, especially at cyclically varying temperatures.
- Good structural stability at high temperatures.
- It has low thermal conductivity and high thermal expansion.
- Heat-input of <1.5 kJ/mm and interpass temperature of <150°C (300°F) are recommended.
