Lincoln Lincore 33 MIG Wire
Lincoln Lincore 33
Self-shielded, open arc, flux cored tubular electrode designed primarily for the build-up of steel parts or as a buttering layer prior to hardfacing. Arc characteristics are excellent producing a soft low penetration arc (ideal for build-up) that exhibits low spatter levels and excellent slag removal. Although, Lincore 33 is primarily designed for the open arc operation, it may be used under a neutral flux for conditions requiring spatter elimination and removal of arc glare
Features:
- Build-up deposit on carbon steel and low alloy steel base metals
- Deposit is unlimited layers
- Delivers tough machinable deposits for build-up or final overlay intended for metal-to-metal wear
- It is ideal for rebuilding worn parts to near final dimensions before applying final hardfacing layers which are more wear resistant
- Use for build-up of steel mill parts such as rougher couplings
Welding Process:
Hardfacing | FCAW | SAW
Welding positions:
Flat and horizontal
