Returns Policy
Please be aware that we do not accept returns because you have changed your mind or if you have decided to purchase product elsewhere. We recommend you carefully review your cart before proceeding with your order. If we have sent you an incorrect item, or you have made a wrong selection, please contact us.
What can be Retuned?
You can exchange or request a credit/refund of your product within 30 days from the original date of purchase. No returns will be accepted after 30 days from the original dispatch date.
No returns on gas cylinders, electronic repair parts.
This offer is subject to the condition that the item(s) being returned for exchange are unused and in the original, resalable condition.
It is mandatory to return the product to ARC Welding & Safety Supplies store for an inspection and/or evaluation to take place. We will not process a return until we have the product(s) in store.
All returned stock needs to be received with a Goods Return Authority (GRA) form with a copy of the original Invoice or packing slip.
Exchange or Credit/Refunds

The value of the credit/refunded item will be equal to the purchase price of the original item, as mentioned in the invoice. Credit/refunds issued are for the purchase price only, shipping charges are not refunded.
Approved Credit/Refunds can be issued as a Credit to your Trade Account with ARC Welding & Safety Supplies or Bank Transfer to your bank account.
The freight cost for the return item(s) will be at the expense of the customer.
The decision of ARC Welding & Safety Supplies is final in all cases, with the only exception being those decisions made by the original Supplier.
Incorrect Shipment by ARC Welding & Safety Supplies
ARC Welding & Safety Supplies will only cover the cost of freight if the return is due to an error at our end.
It is mandatory to return the product to ARC Welding & Safety Supplies store for an inspection and/or evaluation to take place. No credits/refunds will be made without an inspection and or/ evaluation taking place at the ARC Welding & Safety Supplies Store.
The decision of ARC Welding & Safety Supplies is final in all cases, with the only exception being those decisions made by the original Supplier.
Warranty
Our Suppliers manufacture their products in accordance with their own stringent inhouse quality controls and guidelines. This enables us to provide you with a high-quality assurance for the products we provide. If you find a manufacturing defect in the product you have purchased, please contact ARC Welding & Safety Supplies, and cease use of the product immediately.
It is mandatory to return the product to ARC Welding & Safety Supplies store for an inspection to take place.
Claims for defective product are at the discretion of ARC Welding & Safety Supplies. Please contact the store directly to discuss your claim.
The warranty item will be repaired or replaced. If not applicable – refunded according to Consumer Guarantees Act 1993(NZ). The value of the refunded/replaced item will be equal to the purchase price of the original item, as mentioned in the invoice, irrespective of the current price of the product at the time of the claim taking place.
The freight of the returned items will be at the expense of the customer. The freight for the fixed/replaced items to the purchaser is under ARC Welding & Safety Supplies expenses.
Final decisions for warranty or replacement will be subject to the Suppliers Policy and Terms & Conditions.
The time frame for placing a claim on faulty products is 1 month for consumables, 3 months for safety items and 1 year for machinery (or as otherwise specified in your warranty at the time of purchase.) This time frame is subject to change at the of discretion of ARC Welding & Safety Supplies.
Comfort Guarantee
Purchase any pair of boots from ARC Welding & Safety Supplies and receive the free benefit of a 30-Day Comfort Guarantee (Valid for Bata Industrials Range & Blundstone New Zealand Range Only).
Boots must be returned to ARC Welding & Safety Supplies along with your original receipt and a Goods Return Authority Form (GRA), within 30 days from the date of purchase.
The customer will be given the option of credit/refund or exchange, subject to the criteria set out by our Supplier.
The value of the credit/ refund or exchange will be equal to the purchase price of the original item, as mentioned in the invoice, irrespective of the current price of the boots at the time of the return taking place.
The freight cost for the return item(s) will be at the expense of the customer.

All boots returned or exchanged will be subject to the Suppliers Policy and Terms & Conditions. This is subject to change at the discretion of ARC Welding & Safety Supplies and its Suppliers.
